Recently, the global launch of CSRs super capacitor energy storage modern tram and the signing activity for the first use of Ningbo were held at CSRs Ningbo industrial base in five towns of Yinzhou District. Ningbo has become the first city in the world to purchase new models and use them for public transport. A few days ago, Liu Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party committee and Secretary of the municipal Party committee, met with Zheng Changhong, chairman of CSR Co., Ltd., who came to Ningbo to participate in the launch activities. Xiong Jianping, vice governor of the province, Lu ziyue, deputy secretary of the municipal Party committee and mayor, and others attended the release. Lao Kejun, director of the Municipal Transportation Commission, and Gao Yunzhen, director of the municipal passenger Management Bureau, attended the signing ceremony.
At the ceremony, director Gao Yunzhen and general manager Xiao Yong of Zhejiang CSR tram company signed a purchase contract for 1200 super capacitor energy storage modern trams. According to the contract, the 1200 vehicles will be delivered to Ningbo in batches for urban public transport, of which 400 will be used in Yinzhou District. Because the parking charging devices of these vehicles need to be modified, it is not clear which lines these 1200 vehicles will be put on. "In the future, super capacitor trolleybus will become the mainstream of urban transportation in Ningbo." Said Zhou Qinghe, chairman of CSR.
   in recent two years, Ningbo has newly opened rail transit, built new public bicycles, built a "four car one" urban public transport pattern together with conventional bus and taxi, and the addition of super capacitor energy storage modern tram makes the future urban public transport of Ningbo present a diversified trend.
